Secure online payment: any online payment data, such as credit card information, is protected via a Secure Socket Layer connection (SSL), which encrypts data making it impossible for third parties to read messages. All browsers support SSL and indicate when it’s place. This forms a global standard for secure payment via the internet.

Privacy: the personal data that we request from you is only used to process your order as efficiently as possible. We respect and guarantee your privacy. Under no circumstances will personal data be shared to third parties.

A deferred bank payment is not implemented immediately but takes 6 to 10 working days to be completed. The recipient sees that the payment has been initiated, but only receives the money after complete processing.

The payment consists of two payment orders:

  1. Your bank transfers the desired amount to PayPal and the money is deposited to your PayPal balance.

  2. PayPal transfers the money from your PayPal account to the seller.

Payment order 1 must be completed first, before payment order 2 can commence. This process can take 6 to 10 working days.

Why is a deferred bank payment sent?

  • Your bank account has been confirmed, but this is your first payment using your bank account.

  • Your bank account has been confirmed, but your PayPal balance is overdrawn or you had a negative balance.

  • Our internal security system determines that the payment is sent as a deferred bank payment.

How can I prevent a deferred bank payment?

Adding money to your PayPal balance prevents a deferred payment. You can add money to your balance via www.paypal.com (added within 5 minutes) or via your bank account (added within 1 to 2 working days). You can also prevent a deferred payment by adding a credit card to your account.

We’ve introduced Klarna, a payment method in which you can select from multiple payment options:


Pay Later:

Once your order is confirmed, you'll receive an email with payment instructions within two days from Klarna. You'll then have 30 days to try out your order and only pay when you’re happy. Complete the payment online, at your convenience, with no extra cost. You can pay via credit or debit card in Klarna.app or by logging into www.klarna.com/uk


Slice It:

For orders over £35, you can also pay in 3 interest-free instalments, which will allow you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal payments. The payment for each instalment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. Your first instalment will be collected when your order is confirmed by Optimum Nutrition and instalments 2 and 3 are scheduled 30 and 60 days later, respectively. You can always monitor your payments’ schedule in the Klarna app.

We use Eurocard/MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa to provide secure, easy transactions. The conditions of the relevant card issuer are applicable and Optimum Nutrition is not part of the relationship between you and the card issuer. During the order process you can opt for payment by credit card and once the payment has been authorised, we’ll send your order immediately.

PayperEmail is a payment method from our payment provider Buckaroo. After a customer service agent has placed an order at your request, you’ll receive a payment request by e-mail. Click on the link and you’ll be redirected to a site where you can pay by credit card or PayPal.

Google Pay as payment method is only available on Android Devices, from a Mac/Windows Device when using Google Chrome as a browser and when an account for Google for payments has been setup
